Mr. Sun Bubble Tea

Mr. Sun Oakville serves the best bubble tea in the area—possibly in the entire Greater Toronto Area. The drinks are consistently delicious, and the tapioca pearls are hands-down the best: perfectly chewy, fresh, and generously portioned. What makes this place even more special is that it’s family-run, and you can feel the care and pride in everything they do. Our go-to drinks? The Hulk—a rich matcha milk tea with cheese foam and brown sugar pearls (extra) —is absolutely addictive. We also love the Taro Fresh Milk Tea, which has a great balance of flavour without being too sweet.

This is my favourite spot for bubble tea in Oakville. My top pick is the Poke Poke fruit tea. It's refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect for a hot summer day. I’ve also tried their tiramisu, and it was a pleasant surprise. It’s light, creamy, and not overly sweet. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you're not sure what to order, just ask—they always have great recommendations and have never let me down.

Visited the Oakville location today and tried their mango green tea (with no tapioca) and the 1L poke poke cup. The sweetness was just right and not super sweet like most other places. I went with the recommended 25% sugar for the mango green tea and the poke poke cup has no additional added sugar (sweetness just from the fruit and juice). The barista hand made all the drinks and mashed up all the fruit for the poke cup. Everything is truly made with care here. One thing about the poke poke cup is there seems to be many seeds (from the passion fruit, orange and maybe lime) would be nice to have a variant that’s without seeds. Also their display screen showcasing all the drinks the rotation is kinda fast. So I took a picture of each screen for your (and my) convenience. I want to try some of their other stuff the next time - like their grape drinks and also their Mr. Sun mango.
